Hot Chamber Die Casting

Hot chamber die casting is a type of die casting which rely upon a pool of molten metal to feed the die. The process will begin when the piston of the machine is retracted which allows the molten metal to fill the gooseneck. A hydraulic piston will then push the metal to a gooseneck. There are many advantages of using hot chamber is the cycle time will be faster, while the major disadvantage is this system is only suitable for low melting point metals. Hot chamber die casting is normally suitable for metal like zinc, tin.
